In our last episode until October, we take a look at another tragedy of the 80s and focus on what occurred on the evening of 6th March 1987 when the Herald of Free Enterprise left the port of Zeebrugge with her bow doors wide open. We also take a look at the years leading up this terrible disaster where numerous warnings were missed or ignored by those who were in charge and we ask, could this incident that claimed the lives of 193 people been avoided and who was to blame for what happened on that fateful day?
