Behold the Lamb of God
Reverend Shelley McVea continues our experience of the “aha!” season with the baptism of Christ.  The greatest prophet John the Baptist prepares the way to Jesus by baptizing his cousin Jesus.  John sees in that moment a dove descending, and John proclaims, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”  Jesus shows us the path to a redeemed life, so that we can find freedom through the forgiveness of sin.
