When it comes to the greatest cartoons of all time, one that surely has to be in the mix is the “Wacky Races”, which ran for an amazingly short time in the late 1960’s. Inspired by one of the great comedy films of the 1960’s, it also spawned two spin-off series that had their own success, being “Stop the Pigeon!” and “The Perils of Penelope Pitstop”.

On today’s podcast episode, we’ll take a look back at what made the “Wacky Races” so special and amusing, and also at those other pieces that made the puzzle so much fun. Because when it comes to great cartoon shows, the ones that made our childhood Saturday mornings so enjoyable, this is one that I still recall so fondly.
