As actuaries, we are keenly aware of a number of different risks. However, nature risk is something that may not have been given adequate consideration. To help shed some light on this topic, the CIA has produced a policy statement entitled Integrating Nature in Climate Scenario Analysis for Enhanced Resilience. In this episode, we are joined by Michael Tencer, FCIA, who chaired the task force that authored the statement. Michael provides insights on what nature risk entails and how actuaries can reflect it in their work. (In English)
