Episode 21: All That God Commanded

Listen Later

The whole passage builds to one sentence: “Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him.” No questions. No negotiation. No shortcuts. God asked Noah to build a massive boat on dry land for a disaster no one had ever seen, and Noah just... did it. For years. In public. While the sky stayed clear. This episode explores what complete obedience looks like—not partial, not selective, but all. The same refrain echoes through Noah’s story: he did all that God commanded. That’s faith with calluses on its hands. And notice: the obedience comes before the deliverance. Noah built for years before a single drop fell. God calls us to obey in the dry season, trusting his word more than our perception. If he says rain is coming, pick up your tools and get to work.
