This is the last of Captain AJ and my discussion. Much like drawings, whatever crystalized emotions we may have somehow shape our perception.. but ultimately, how do our lives relate to a world full of sensation?
Having been moved by the complex lives of others, what can anyone's soul contribute?
During these blessed days,
we think of shared moments with loved ones,
traditional gatherings, relinquished friendships, love for food/play shared.
Ahmed and I grew up at a time (& placed) where it was not uncommon to sit on the floor with ~ 30-40 other people, to share holy communions, eat heartily, then go out back to shoot hoops & catch up/synchronize..
As someone who's undertaken the journey to Mecca 🕋 during this (lunar) month & having let my prayers resonate in the air there, what molecules vibrate as the loved ones whom occupied my thoughts [and soul} when I was there?
