New obsession: paper crafts! Found this awesome free website from Canon Japan with origami, paper crafts, etc. 

While browsing for Christmas tree craft ideas (on Pinterest, of course) stumbled across a very cool site by Lia Griffith that has free downloadable label templates.

Japanese cooking class: learned that mirin need flambé first to make sure alcohol is evaporated. Basically the ingredients of Japanese stock and sauces: dashi, mirin, sake, shoyu.
