Let’s talk about how we spend our time! Staying consistent and intentional throughout the summer can be difficult due to the changes in rhythm and environment, so we must go back to the basics and keep it simple yet intentional.
Here is the text from the book of Colossians that is read and discussed in this episode!
Colossians 2:6-7(MSG)
My counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you’ve been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live him. You’re deeply rooted in him. You’re well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you’ve been taught. School’s out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving.
Colossians 3:1–2 (MSG)
So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.
