In today's episode, we welcome retired firefighter and EMS worker Keith Hanks.  Keith started an a volunteer, on-call firefighter.  He ultimately became a full-time firefighter and EMT.  He also became a training officer in both professions, earning a Fire Science Degree and worked in the Massachusetts Fire Academy.

Some of the funny calls we cover involve Keith leaving a very important part of his gear at the firehouse on his way to a call, a motor vehicle accident caused by "distracted driving" on a whole new level, and a fire call in a messy house that put a firefighter in a very "nasty" situation.

Keith is also working on his first book to help others in this field deal with the unimaginable trauma one may experience being a first responder.
