The funeral arrangement was settled immediately.  By noon, the body had been safely buried and the few attendees have made their way home.  No tears were shed as her death was expected by everyone around her.  For a year, she was just lying there, comatose, life slowly seeping out of her and death eventually brought her away.  

Among those in attendance was Lily, a five-year-old girl whose parents were closely related to Nek Ja, the old woman who had just passed away.   Nek Ja has taken care of Lily’s mother, Suzy, when she was abandoned at birth and raised her as her own.  Eventually, Suzy married Nek Ja’s nephew, Arman and conceived Lily as a result of the union.
