Tight races at the top and at the bottom of the Bundesliga
The Bundesliga saw two teams on a hot streak continue to get the results they wanted as both Dortmund and Mainz won. Mainz has stealthily been the second best team since play resumed following the World Cup and they've snuck up to seventh place whereas BVB are the last remaining "Bayernjäger", only separated from Bayern through goal difference. The race for relegation is even closer with four teams sitting at 19 points after Schalke beat Bochum.
