What started as a $1500 USD investment in 1974 from his grandfather has led Mark Pierce to becoming the President of Davis & Pierce Die Service, Inc., a 3rd-generation family-run die shop that makes almost every kind of cutting die you can think of. Mark talks about the importance of quality assurance and what kinds of things they implement to maintain relationships with their customers. He also explains what he thinks is one of the most crucial areas of diemaking. Mark believes communication is an important key to success and something that can always be improved making “every day a learning day” and discusses with co-hosts Gino Gualtieri and Austin Murray the importance of sharing knowledge, being ambitious and developing relationships.
