In this episode, we get to talk with one of the official favorite Moriartys of the podcast: Daniel Davis!
Daniel played Moriarty on Star Trek: The Next Generation and then recently reprised the role in Star Trek: Picard. If you haven't watched Picard, you might want to before listening, since we talk quite a bit about it early on, and what Daniel had hoped for the return of his character and what he still hopes for.
Naturally, we dive into his original go at Moriarty in TNG and what he loves about the character, and he shares some of his memories, from that first audition to getting "Ship in a Bottle" filmed quickly before the pilot of a certain sitcom... He also tells us about what it was like to film on a real aircraft carrier for the movie The Hunt for Red October. And, of course, we talk a little bit about The Nanny.
