In this episode we cover bowl games and why the bowl system needs to change.  We also give you a Christmas Day Parlay and provide very minimal coverage on the NBA because the season is way too long.  We make fun of Iowa basketball and there may be a new city sponsored BDSM dungeon somewhere in Florida!

Definitions:

• Moneyline - You pick who wins or loses.  There is no point spread just a simple win or loss and in the case of soccer you can pick if there will be a draw.
• Spread - The spread is a wager where you can pick if a team will get within or outside a set amount of points or runs.  The underdog must get within this number and favorite must get outside this number.
• Over/Under - You pick if the game with wind up with more points or fewer points than a set number that is picked by the betting company.
• Parlay - This is a series of linked bets that if all of them win you get a great payout, but if one of them loses then you get nothing. These bets are notoriously difficult to win.
• Teaser - A teaser is a type of wager used in sports betting, most commonly in basketball and football. This wager is a multi-team wager, allowing the bettor to choose a minimum of two teams up to, in some cases, 15 teams. The bettor will get points on his favor to add or subtract to the teams chosen to improve the point spread chosen.
• Horse Racing
  • Win - You're betting on the horse to win the hole event by coming in first.
  • Place - You're betting that the horse will come in either first or second.
  • Show - You're betting that the horse will place in the top 3.
