Mike Iverson, Shelby Ciarallo, and Chris Sexauer (coolest last name ever!) are The New Studio, a nonprofit event planning business sponsoring child development and arts funding. Their goal is to give space and support to the greater artist community be it performance or visual. We talk about how the Pittsburgh art community is growing but deserves much, much more needed attention. I get some sweet recommendations for great artists in the city, and the subtle nuances of Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and the beautiful Frank Ocean.I love what they are doing and I hope you look them up and show them some support.
