Episode 21 features Mr. Rob Carney, a holistic lifestyle coach from Boston, Massachusetts! He created Whole Health Connections, which strives to help others connect the dots to wellness through his 10 week lifestyle transformation program and podcast. He focuses on six different pillars of wellness: thinking, nutrition, movement, sleep, hydration, and breathing. In today's episode, we focus on the science and power behind sleep since it is super important and oftentimes undervalued in our society. Rob elaborates on the importance of sleep; tips to maximize your sleep each night; the correlation between sleep, stress, and higher performance; and the relationship between sleep and the other core pillars. Overall, the goal of this episode is to encourage you to reflect and prioritize a good night sleep each day and to remember to keep it super simple when making lifestyle changes.
