The tension rests within all of us is that we know that we are different than everyone else in someway. Our differences don't just make us unique, it makes us significant. Ray Allen is the Director for Multicultural Affairs at Southeastern University and has been on the forefront of the diversity and inclusion efforts both on campus and within the community as a whole. This is a tension that we all need to manage, not resolve. And learning to manage this tension is a crucial if we want to see our society, country, and communities move forward.
