Tyler is also a best-selling author and safety consultant when he’s not acting. In his book The Power to Speak Naked, Tyler writes that the thing we are afraid to say is likely what the world needs to hear. The fear of being exposed and attacked keeps people from public speaking, but he points out that even meeting a friend at the mall and talking is considered public speaking and should not be scary at all. Tyler and Jennifer dive deep into conversations about free speech, public opinion, and the boundaries and barriers of free speech in modern times.
