Neil Nixon cannot recall a time before he was interested in the paranormal.  He has been writing for publication since he was a student and for decades his work included articles, academic papers, and the occasional book on the paranormal.  This work went alongside his academic career - including founding the UK's first higher education course in Professional Writing (running it for 20 years).  Neil has also worked as a television and radio scriptwriter, comedy writer, and produced work on sports and rock music. 

On leaving academia, Neil stepped into paranormal work publishing UFO's, Aliens, and the Battle for the Truth (2021) and Why Mystery Matters (2023).  He is a speaker and regular guest on radio shows.  He remains focused on asking the right questions to unlock the biggest mysteries in paranormal phenomena.  He enjoys hearing about very high strangeness cases.
