As John Maxwell so eloquently puts it, "If you place a small value on yourself, rest assured the world will not raise the price." In simpler terms, your perception of yourself dictates how others perceive and treat you.
Here are 5 keys to leadership growth:
1. Guard your self-talk: If it doesn’t propel you in the direction you want to go, then don’t entertain the thought for another second!
2. Proximity is power: Surround yourself with individuals who uplift and challenge you.
3. Run your own race: Focus on your journey without comparing yourself to others. Their purpose and calling have nothing to do with yours.
4. Add value to others: Success lies in helping others succeed. Zig Ziglar said it best, “You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people
5. Challenge limiting beliefs: Question and overcome self-imposed limitations. More times than not, the thing that is holding us back from reaching our true potential is
The Law of the Mirror reminds us that leadership begins with self-perception. By embracing our potential and empowering others to do the same, we unlock limitless possibilities for growth and success.
