Wave and tidal energy solutions have grown significantly in recent years, with a wide range of projects underway to de-risk, reduce costs and commercialise these technologies, raising their credibility as investments.

As the country begins its road to recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic, the UK has the opportunity to reap the economic benefits of this renewable source, including job creation, supply chain growth as well as economic regeneration of coastal communities, and be the go-to country for marine energy exports in technology, intellectual property and services. But we need to act now.
