On this episode I share my experience as one of the award winners in the AFEW GIRAFFE CENTRE TERTIARY ENVIRONMENTAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2025. As a reward we were taken on a one week field excursion to the Coast of Kenya. We experienced the SGR, Fort Jesus, Shimba Hills, Sheldrick Falls, Arabuko Sokoke forest, Mida Creek and the Bamburi Haller Park. In the episode I share what I learnt in all the places and whether they are worth visiting. Congratulations to all the winners and keep shining in your conservation efforts.
