Today we’ll explore Africa during the era of transoceanic interconnections and especially its connections to the Atlantic World. We will glance at the different regions of Africa seeing what is happening with them during this era but then take a particular interest in what is going on with West Africa and its role in the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
