Two movies titled Bait enter, only one will leave (with its title) as Herman Davis and Robert Rau watch Jamie Foxx mug it up for a couple of hours and bad CGI Aussie sharks to determine which film should be called Bait.
First up is a 2000 film Robert did not realize he’s already seen. Nothing against Jamie Foxx or his comedic presence, but his movie is pretty forgettable. But we aren’t here to criticize, just to make sure these movies deserve their title. And for a movie that could of been called Lure or Tapped, director Antoine Fuqua wanted to make sure the name Bait stuck by including it a bunch of times in the movie.
Second up was a 2012 Australian thriller with that guy who played Dr Doom. Considering it was a big hit in China, will it have enough popularity to beat out an OK Jamie Foxx movie? Listen if you dare.
