Welcome back yall! We are still talking about intimacy with God and what it has looked like for me. On this episode we will discuss how idolatry can interrupt our closeness with God. It is 100% possible to love things or people more than our love and admiration for God. I talk about how easy it is to get our order wrong and fill the Christ sized void with other things. The more intimate time we spend with God will open the door for Him to reveal if anything or anyone is taking His place. We need Him! We yearn to be seen, heard, known, and accepted and if we are not careful we will find ways to fulfill our needs without God. Allow God to search your heart and reveal if anything is out of order (Pslams 139:23-24).
