The Bit Players take on the "greatest American film of all-time" this week when they talk about Orson Welles' iconic classic Citizen Kane. They examine just what it is about the film that helped it reach such an impossibly high stature, and whether those same ideals are still relevant today (or if it's really historical context that gives it its place in the film canon), the likability of Charles Foster Kane as a character, and Welles himself as an amazing figure in media, writing, directing and starring in what is widely regarded as a classic film at only 25 years old. They also design their own Xanadu, complete with name, location and aesthetic style, as well as reveal what their own "Rosebud" would be on their deathbed.
