June Millington was the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of Fanny. Fanny is the first all-female rock band in the US to record major label albums. They were led by Filipino sisters, June and Jean Millington who emigrated to Northern California in the early 1960’s. Fanny went on to record four albums in the early to mid 70’s.
