In this episode I am joined by Jamila Pomeroy. I followed her on Instagram a while ago and finally got to meet her in person for this episode! She describes herself as a storyteller; expressing herself both visually and through the written word. She is a writer (journalist, screenwriter, author), model, and actress. But these labels hold no boundaries with a lady who's willing to explore all mediums. We discuss how being a young woman of colour has effected her career so far. We also talk about a stereotype of being a "dumb" model. Jamila also shares her thoughts on why a diplomatic approach to diffusing controversial issues is the probably the best approach.
