Revelation 3:20 tells us of a door, we will call it Door #1, which represents the door of our hearts. This door is closed, and only we can open it from the inside. Jesus stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. He wants to enter into our world and give us abundant life, but we have to open the door and let him in by making him Lord of our lives. Three verses later, in Revelation 4:1, we read about Door #2, which represents an entryway into God's world and what's on his heart, which is full of worship, mission, prophecy, victory, and eternity! God summons us to enter Door #2 and step into his world and let our hearts become focused on what's on his heart: the redemption and reconciliation of the world. We need both doors, but we mustn't become so absorbed with Door #1 that we neglect Door #2. We let Jesus into Door #1 so that we may thereby enter into Door #2. We pray the Lord speaks to you about this message: "A Tale of Two Doors." (Originally uploaded on April 25, 2021)
