Jeanette digs into the story of Oregon's second largest wartime city, and it's tragic demise in 1948 through flood. Temporary housing, hastily created for African-American workers was swept away in a matter of minutes, when the town flooded, as many of their Portland neighbors looked the other way.
In part 2, we go a little lighter with the origin of the Original "Oregon Trail" Game. This game that scarred thousands of school children across 3 decades (80s, 90s, and 00s) with the phrase "You've got dysentery."
