In this episode, I am breaking down what it means to be a Great Global Citizen through a few definitions, my personal experience and a few tips to start the journey.
One of my greatest inspiration for this, is a quote from Thomas Sankara, the revolutionary President of Burkina Faso who served as the leader of his country for 4 years. During that short period of time, he managed to develop the country economically and tackle issues such as the environment, gender inequality and imperialism. Well ahead of his time, he believed that oppressed people across the globe were connected by their struggle.
"I want people to remember me as someone whose life has been helpful to humanity." This quote encompasses what Great Global Citizen is.
