Episode 22: You Are Invited To The Wedding Feast

Listen Later

The parable of the wedding feast (Luke 14:15-24 & Matthew 22:1-14) describes how the Kingdom of God is opened to everyone (those who are called to believe in the Lord). Like a wedding ceremony, it signifies love between two people, however, God’s wedding feast is a symbol of His divine love for us. The church represents the bride of Christ, and the marriage feast represents our union with God. Everyone will have the opportunity to accept Jesus’s wedding invitation. His invitation is believing in who Jesus is and accepting him into your heart. Once we accept His invitation, we are united with our Lord and savior sharing in the same treasure with Christ. In this conversation, Tatiana and Tamara discuss the truth about the Lord’s invitation, which is an honor to sit at His table and feast with Him. We are all invited to sit at His table, the question is are you willing to accept God’s invitation to the wedding feast? As believers, we must accept this invitation if we want to feast with our Lord and Savior. Everyone is invited to the wedding, but not everyone will attend. Let us be a people who will accept and attend the precious invitation of having the privilege of dinning with Jesus!
