My interview this week is with Suddan Shanmugasundaram.

 

And for the first time on my podcast, we get an interesting perspective from someone doing business in the USA and in India.

 

Suddan explains how USA influences India in the entrepreneurial field and how more and more Indian entrepreneurs want to earn a living, do their passion, build a startup, and be successful. And that’s amazing & promising.

 

But, he warns entrepreneurs building their startup to stay focused. That’s one of the hardest things to do! Focus on what problem you are solving and how it’s going to make a difference in someone’s life.

 

Unfortunately, a lot of entrepreneurs lose time and money building and crafting products or services that people are not ready to buy.

 

“We should know more about the clients than the clients know about themselves.”

 

Suddan is also very generous into describing and explaining great lessons for entrepreneurs that are bootstrapping their business:

Build a minimum viable product and make it a product

Keep the core competency in you with you, then delegate the rest

Learn to say “no” to many things

 

The entrepreneurial journey is no easy road! But it’s totally worth it. And this interview is worth to be listened to. It will definitely help you avoid a few mistakes and save you some time!
