Deep down, we usually know the right thing to do—until we start justifying reasons not to. There’s freedom in doing what’s right, free of judgment or reasoning that clouds its beauty. Be kind without deciding if someone deserves it or if someone else should do it. As Colossians 3:23 (NLT) says, “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Live from your heart, and you’ll hear God’s voice more clearly.
