Step Back to Step Up
A lesson from my Dad (this will make even more sense if you know how to drive a stick shift): Sometimes you have to downshift to build up power and be able to blast forward.
Today's reading is about going back to where we first met God, recommitting ourselves, and strengthening our relationships with Him. Some of you know the song, Take Me Back. "Take me back to the place where I first received you . . . where I first believed."
