Even though we enjoy the pleasure of preparing for a cozy Christmas, with decorations and gift giving traditions, there is a deeper message that comes from the spirit of Advent.  Reverend Shelley McVea reveals how Advent is a time of crying out to God to hasten his coming: “Oh that you would open the heavens” and ransom us.
