Episode 229: Max Hall - From NFL QB to Recovering Addict

Listen Later

Max Hall had what some would think, was "EVERYTHING" as he had made it to the NFL as a quarterback after having played extremely well at BYU, which was his life long dream! But what many don't know, are the struggles that happen to athletes at the highest level.

See, Max will talk about it today, on how he struggled with the pressures of being an NFL QB that was fighting to keep not only his starting spot which he had earned, but simply keep his job after a few injuries occurred.

Listen closely today on how impactful his concussions and other injuries were on his story! You'll hear about the turning point for Max, when he first took opioids when he was dealing with an injury in the NFL, and how that (very) quickly became a problem for him!

This is a great story however, for those who may be in the same situation. Maybe you had everything going for you and seemingly out of nowhere, due to some decisions, you found yourself with an addiction which was hard to kick. Today, you'll hear about the impact that had on Max's family, on his job, on his mental health, and actually what the breaking point was for him to start his road to recovery!

Recovery is possible! And Max is here to share his story on how that is! This is one you don't want to miss!
