Research shows that women who are in fertility treatment display similar levels of psychological distress as women who are undergoing chemotherapy or who have recently suffered a heart attack. Yet so little attention is generally given to the state of mind of women who are having trouble conceiving. On this episode of the podcast, I discuss how you can proactively develop a self-care toolkit to increase your general level of wellbeing and resilience. It’s so important to create some space on a daily basis for things that bring you joy and that help your nervous system calm down. I provide you with some concrete steps to implement a new habit that will help you achieve this and advice on what you can do to overcome (internal) obstacles and resistance.
