Our guest for Episode 23 of The Music Chat Podcast is Anthony Gomes, a Canadian guitarist who recently released his 12th album.  Anthony is a highly-respected blues guitarist who has opened for many of the "heavy hitters" of the genre, including Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, and Robert Cray, among many others.  During our conversation we talk about his new album, Peace, Love & Loud Guitars, and also about the importance and power of music.  

This talk with Anthony is one of my favorite conversations to date, he has an immense knowledge of the history of the blues and music in general.  Anthony also possesses a wonderful perspective on the place music has in our society.  I hope everyone listens all the way through this episode, especially the portion where Anthony discusses the Music Is the Medicine Foundation, an organization that uses music to help individuals that have endured traumatic experiences in their lives.
