In this first episode on season 2 of AMP Intermission Podcast, I bring on guest, Mitch Berg. Mitch is a sport psychology master's candidate and mental performance coach hailing from Saskatoon, SK. With a diverse athletic background in hockey, lacrosse, and baseball, Mitch connects with athletes across all sports and age ranges. Bringing over 9 years of experience in the mental health field, his coaching approach combines personal insight with academic expertise. Mitch is also proudly involved with the Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association, and dedicated to optimizing mental resilience and performance in sports.
Mitch shares his insight of experience in working with our youth and the challenges we face. Our conversation was open about the differences we witness in sport today versus when we were in our athletic career. He also provides insight as to tools and strategies to help athletes get back in the game after time away mentally and/ physically.
