The entire foundation of modern religion rests on two pillars: holy book and faith in the unseen. This episode of RESTART demolishes both. We begin by proving a simple, undeniable historical fact: your prophet never wrote your holy book. The Quran, the Gospel, and the Torah were all compiled centuries after their namesakes were gone, making them products of hearsay and government, not direct revelation. This leads to the central question: how can you have "faith" in something you've never seen, passed down through a book your prophet never authorized? We argue that religions have stolen the word "faith" from the mystics, demanding you love a God you've never met.
Having dismantled the old framework, we reveal the mystics' true, three-part categorization of humanity: the "Believer" (the one who sees the Perfect Human), the "Hypocrite" (the one who sees and betrays), and the "Disbeliever" (which includes nearly everyone else, especially the piously religious). Using the powerful parable of the Ant and the Gardener, we illustrate humanity's cosmic blindness—worshipping an abstract idea of a creator while unable to recognize the tangible "gardener" working right in front of us. This episode is a call to abandon the religion of your forefathers and begin the search for a truth you can see with your own eyes.
