Hello fellow friends! Since last episode was all about what I learned from running a marathon, and the another episode before that was all about tapering for a Marathon, I figured it was only right for this episode to be about recovery from a marathon!
I am always wanting to go go go. And I think as runners, we are constantly thinking one step ahead. Already planning for the next training block the day after the big race. And we overlook perhaps one of the most important aspects of training, recovery. I know I am guilty of this.
So in this episode I wanted to take you through some basic tips for post race recovery so you can bounce back sooner, and stronger then before! And this applies to ANY race/training block. No matter the distance, you still need to recover!
