I hear parents frequently claim that their biggest goal is to raise their children to be decent adults who contribute to the world. No parent sets out to raise the next generation of Internet trolls who spend significant amounts of time viewing and criticizing others’ work and investment. This series will explore some of the themes I believe help parents raise kids to be aware of and considerate of those around them, turning them into good family and community citizens. In this episode, I will discuss the importance of using values as guides for decisions and how it sets a tone for guiding choices into adulthood.
