Isn't it ironic how we can give the best advice to all of our friends, yet we cannot "listen or hear" our own advice?

The primary reason for this is when the advice is not directed at ourselves, it is not personal, so it is way easier to remove emotion and focus on the real issue. Emotion often clouds our judgement or our perspective because our feelings are so involved.

Its good advice to sometimes take your own advice.
