What happens when one of the hosts of Everything We Learned doesn’t hit record for the first 30 minutes of an episode? This episode is what happens. Join Dan and Tyler as they discuss the far superior version of “The Mummy” with the 1999 classic starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. Did you know people think that Dan looks a bit like Mr. Fraser? Well he kind of does and Brendan is one hell of a good-looking guy in this movie, so take what you will from that. The Mummy is jam packed with great action adventure, tomb raiding and a bit of subpar CGI but that’s forgiven because this movie is great. Many lessons were learned from this movie, specifically lessons learned from the supporting cast, cough, Beni and Jonathan, cough. They cover whether or not they would open an ancient container that specifically states that if you open the container you will probably die. They also cover the impact of Rachel Weisz’ character Evelyn and how she saves Rick’s life numerous times. We love this movie, and you should too. If you haven’t seen it then shame on you.
