In this episode, I interviewed Heidi Dellaire, the founder of Love Wide Open. She has just published an AMAZING book called "Roots & Tendrils" - a collection of poetry so raw and emotional with such a pure expression of vulnerability that I doubt there's a parent out there who will not relate deeply to it. There are so many lessons in it and it is oh so good. I sat down to read a couple of poems and 2 hours later, had read the whole thing! In the podcast today, she shares with us many nuggets including an amazing valve analogy she has with regard to taking care of ourselves and ways in which to help adults and children alike become more in touch with their emotions.
