TCBSG discuss Jesus and the disciples as they sail to the Gentile region of the Gerasenes where Jesus meets a man possessed by many demons who call themselves "Legion." The demons recognize Jesus' authority and beg not to be sent to the abyss; Jesus permits them to enter a nearby herd of pigs, which then rush into the lake and drown. The man is restored, clothed, and rational, and Jesus tells him to go home and tell how much God has done for him. The townspeople, upset over the loss of their livestock, ask Jesus to leave. The episode explores spiritual warfare, the reality of heaven and hell, the compassion and authority of Jesus, and the importance of sharing personal testimony.
