Two movies titled Drive enter, only one will leave (with its title) as Herman Davis and Robert Rau watch the star of Iron Chef America and the coolest Scorpion jacket battle to determine which film should be called Drive.
There have been plenty of decent movies up for vote, but Mark Dacascos’ Drive caught Herman and Robert completely off guard. Funny, action-packed, and a touch insane, it is a great movie to watch with others at one and a quarter speed on Youtube. The movie does have a lack of driving going on, which does hurt its chances on keeping the title. Also, Robert is a dummy who can’t remember Monica Bellucci’s name.
Second up is the coolest of cool movies from a few years ago, starring Ryan Gosling and a jacket only he can pull off. Sure, 45 minutes of this Drive is pretty boring, and Herman and Rob fast forwarded a bit, but it does have the benefit of being more about driving than the 1997 competitor. Will that be enough for this Drive to beat out its contemporary? Listen if you dare.
