Hello, and welcome to another Wednesday morning with LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today, I sat down with Matt Peterson, who is the Director of Student Leadership and Engagement at Naropa University. Matt and I met during the Social Justice Training Institute (we were going to be roommates) and it was really fun to catch up with Matt since his move to Colorado! We had a great time talking about the different ways we reevaluate our career paths, what attracts us to the jobs we choose, and creating a safe, healthy environment in which to thrive as a professional. We also chatted about reading, taking time to center one’s self at the beginning of the work day, swimming competitively, and drawing a line at the end of the day and saying “time to go home.”
As always, if you want to be interviewed for an episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES, email lifeworkbalances [at] gmail
Enjoy!
