On today’s episode we’re chatting with Tara Filteau from the social enterprise Mother Daughter Empower. Tara is a busy mom of three who – alongside her daughter – is the cofounder of this movement that empowers young girls to be who they are and to become anything they want to be.

Join us as we talk about Tara’s formula for raising confident girls, some of the more common challenges of parenting girls in a world run by social media, and how we can work on maintaining that crucial mother-daughter bond through the infamous teenage years…dun dun dun.

We also discuss the National Mother Daughter Conference and Empower Girl Awards, plus the overnight retreats that Tara and her daughter have created through Mother Daughter Empower.
